Mikayla Brown, executive producer of the Chicago Fringe Festival, joined me to talk about the origins and vision of the festival and the nuts-and-bolts for prospective performers.

This week's sound problem was that my fancy little digital recorder crapped out completely, so we had a nice fireside chat in front of my non-functioning fireplace and recorded straight into GarageBand.
